Mr. Mohammad Asaduzzaman is a Joint Secretary of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. At present he is working at Prime Minister’s Office as a Director General. He has joined NWPGCL as a Director in February, 2024. He is a Member of the Administrative Affairs Committee, Audit & Finance Committee, Legal Affairs Committee and Project Steering Committee of the Company. Mr. Asaduzzaman obtained B.Sc. AG (Hons) from Bangladesh Agricultural University. He pursued Masters degree in Government and Politics from the Asian University of Bangladesh, Public Policy & Management from the Northern University of Bangladesh and Project Management from the University of Bedfordshire in England. He joined the Administration Cadre of Bangladesh Civil Service in 2003 and belongs to 21st batch. He also served as Assistant Commissioner (Land), Senior Assistant Secretary, Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Private Secretary to the Minister of the State (Fisheries & Livestock), Deputy Secretary at (MOPA), Director at Prime Minister’s Office and in different capacities. Mr. Asaduzzaman has around 21 years of outstanding work experience in Administration Cadre of Bangladesh Civil Service. He has taken part in numerous domestic and international training programs. He travelled to Malaysia, India, Nepal, Australia, South Korea, Indonesia, Keniya, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Italy, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Ireland, UAE, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Netherlands, Turkey, Germany etc. for study and official purpose. .

 

He joined the Administration Cadre of Bangladesh Civil Service on 31 May 2003. He also served field administration, Cabinet Division, Prime Minister's Office and Power Division in different capacities. Before starting career in civil service, he served the Bangladesh Bank.
